Work experience

I have spent more than ten years of my working life in Tampere University doing research in the Faculty of Communication Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences. In the past I have also worked in publishing and as a copywriter.

 
 

Post-doctoral researcher, Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences 2023–

As post-doctoral researcher in the KODA project (Towards datafied production thinking: The changing practices of film and television productions in a platform economy).


Parental leave 2021–2022


Post-doctoral researcher, Faculty of Social Sciences, Tampere University 2020–2021

As post-doctoral researcher in the Academy of Finland funded Project Flows of Power (University of Tampere).


Researcher, Research center COMET, 2010–2019

I worked in various media related research projects in COMET (Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences, University of Tampere), for example New Reading Communities, New Modes of Reading (2010–2013) and my own doctoral project (2016–2019).


Copywriter, Mainostoimisto Mediakolmio 2010

For a shorter while I was employed in the advertising agency Mediakolmio (Roister) in Lappeenranta as a copywriter.


Journalist, Kustannusosakeyhtiö Yhteissanomat 2003–2007

Between 2003–2007 I worked short term as a journalist in the local newspaper Yhteissanomat (Länsi-Saimaan Sanomat).
